An arcane turret is a type of construct weapon produced by some artificers. The turret has a rudimentary intelligence, but is otherwise little more than a crossbow on legs. The turrets come in three common varieties, Flamethrower, Force Ballista and Defender.

Flamethrower Turret

Fire Cone 15 ft. cone, (1d8) fire damage. Targets may make a DC save = the creator's spell save DC to take half damage. The fire ignites any flammable objects in the area that aren’t being worn or carried.

Detonate On command from the creator, the turret self destructs dealing 3d6 force damage to all creatures within 10 ft. DC = the creator's spell save DC to take half damage. The turret is destroyed by this.

Force Ballista

Force Bolt Ranged Spell Attack, range 120 ft., one target. Hit: (2d8) force damage. The target is pushed 5 ft. away from the Force Ballista.

Defender

Bolster Allies. The turret emits a burst of positive energy that grants itself and each creature of your choice within 10 feet of it a number of temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + your Intelligence modifier (minimum of +1).
