Bounty Hunter by Gabriel Verdon

Findle gunsmiths rarely consider the spiritual ramifications of their craft.

You have spent most of your life learning the mysteries of dragon powder as apprentice to a gunsmith or alchemist. You may not be a master gunslinger or necessarily involved in the more esoteric aspects of Waidan or Kidan alchemy but your knowledge of dragon powder weapons allows you to crate and wield the deadliest weapons of the mortal world.

Skill Proficiencies: Nature, Slight of Hand

Languages: Draconic

Equipment: Artisans's tools (Alchemist's supplies, Tinker's tools or Smith's tools), 2 Smoke bombs, 3 Flares, a filled powderhorn, a set of common clothes, and a belt pouch containing 15 gp

Feature: Craft Dragon Powder Item

As a Dragon Powder Smith, you have been entrusted with the secrets of crafting dragon powder and firearms. This is a closely guarded secret passed down from mentor to student. Most who attempt to craft such items untrained end up little more than a smoking crater, but you have mastered the craft.

Crafting dragon powder items requires the character expend time and money for materials. It takes 1 hour of downtime and 5 gp in materials per 10 gp of item to be crafted. For example, a musket would take a player 50 hours and 250 gold to craft without magical assistance.

Suggested Characteristics

Dragon Powder Smiths are uncommon, often in the employ of a nobleman or clan leader. Rarely does a master smith let an apprentice with such valuable secrets travel unsupervised.
