Clan History[]
The clan took its name from Chi, the Kidan force of life and vitality. Those of clan Chi are often thought to be boisterous and materialistic. Clan Chi is primarily located in the Southern regions of the Maelun Prefecture and Bianyuan City. Those of this clan often become adventures and other families frequently refer to restless young people as "like a Chi child."
The Maelun Prefecture is dry and barren. Small farming communities take advantage of the few fertile fields and valleys, which are generally not enough to support large villages or cities. Rarely do any Chi people spend their whole life without travelling North to explore the richer regions of Danasia.
The Chi clan have a special relationship with the Wei clan in the Maguan Prefecture and often arrange marriages between the clans.
