Few people can accept poisons, vermin and plague as natural parts of the world, and even fewer dedicate themselves to spreading such things. Deities such as Rebus, Jilin and Phellellipsillo embrace pestilence, disease and poisonous insects in a way that many would consider offensive. Their followers are most often druids or rangers, but small cabals of dedicated cultists or wandering priests can also exist, often becoming avatars of disease and misery.

At 1st level, you learn the Poison Spray cantrip. You also gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Nature, or Survival.
Also at 1st level, you gain partial immunity to all the effects of mundane and magical diseases. You still suffer any cosmetic effects such as pustules, splotches, weeping sores or a dreadful cough.
Channel Divinity: Swarming Armor
Starting at 2nd level, as an action, you present your holy symbol and invoke the name of your deity. Swarms of tiny insects cover up to five allies within 30 feet of you, providing half cover (+2 bonus to AC and Dexterity saving throws) and slowing movement speed by 50% for a number of rounds equal to your cleric level.
At 2nd level, a cancer grows within you, forming a large tumor. This cancerous growth gains intelligence and a neutral evil personality distinct from your own. The companion does not act by the will of the cleric, but can be persuaded to cooperate. You and the companion can communicate telepathically. When needed, the cancerous companion uses the clerics scores for saves, ability scores other than Intelligence, and so forth. The cancerous companion gains abilities as the cleric gains levels. Gaining levels also causes your cancerous companion to grow in size, negatively effecting your charisma score. At any time, if your charisma drops below 5, the tumor's personality takes control over your mind and body. The host can be restored by increasing their charisma over 5.
|Host Charisma Penalty||Ability|
|2nd||8||-1||Your companion can assist you with casting spells, allowing you to concentrate on two spells simultaneously. (Companions discretion.)|
|6th||9||-2||Can form a tendril of cancerous flesh capable of making whip-like attacks. The damage die for your unarmed strike increases to a d6 and you can deliver touch spells through this unarmed strike.|
|10th||10||-4||Mind-affecting spells and effects have a 50% chance of affecting the companion rather than the cleric.|
|14th||11||-6||Can choose to cast a spell from your list of prepared spells on its own three times per day, requiring no action on the part of the cleric. (Companions discretion.)|
|18th||12||-8||Companion gains Blindsight 30 ft. and can choose to share this vision with the cleric.|
Starting at 6th level, when you or a creature within 30 feet of you attempts to magically heal damage, you can use your reaction to half the damage healed.
At 8th level, once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 poison damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.
At 17th level, when using Channel Divinity: Swarming Armor, your targets are granted Three Quarters cover (+5 bonus to AC and Dexterity saving throws) instead of half cover.
