Torfin Val is the master of coin for the Lords of Ulfer. He is tasked with inspecting government institutions and ensuring that the city's taxes have been spent as the Lords of Ulfer will. He dresses in fine, but not flashy clothing and is often seen rolling a silver coin through his knuckles.
As the coinmaster of Ulferveil, Torfin has has had his fair share of run-ins with local criminals and is highly suspicious of armed individuals within the city. He regularly requires security for inspections and due to his lack of trust in the city residents, not knowing who may be on the payroll of local gangs, he often highers adventurers.
