Zakon's life was hard. He was the product of an illicit relationship between human father, Longcrossing Guard Captain Aleksy Korobov, and an Orcish Bandit Leader named Kharzug Krov. Raised most of his life by his Father (who told others that Zakon was adopted so that he would be easier accepted into human society), until his Father's side business of informing Kharzug's bandit clan of trade caravan contents resulted in the treason and execution of Aleksy. From his early teen years he was raised by his mother's bandit clan, where he learned how to fight (with disregard for honor and chivalry), until adventurers cleared out the camp and collected the bounty on his bandit clan while Zakon was conveniently away selling ill-gotten goods to merchants. From there he took many random contracts as a sellsword to make his way through into his adulthood, where he now finds himself happily traveling among strangers to protect a caravan.
Zakon, despite having a tragic history, remains very positive and has ready smile (despite it being a toothy orcish grin). He doesn't mind being the minority, and understands the typical bias against his kind, however is not offended by it. He finds great entertainment in bringing a ready smile to his surroundings and a light hearted attitude, mainly because he understands how strange it would be for others to meet a happy go lucky fast talking half orc.
